GOP Senators wrote a letter to the President dated June 21st 2010.....
"While deferred action and parole are executive-branch authorities, they should not be used to circumvent Congress' constitutional authority to legislate immigration policy, particularly as it relates to the illegal population in the United States."
"Deferred action and parole were not intended to be used to confer a status or offer protection to large groups of illegal aliens, even if the agency claims that they look at each case on a 'case-by-case' basis."
"Such a move would further erode the American public's confidence in the federal government and its commitment to securing the borders and enforcing the laws already on the books."
"The Administration would be wise to abandon any plans for deferred action or parole for the illegal population."
What do you think? Will this hurt the President politically?
Do you think a plan like this will only increase illegal immigration? Is this a plan to subvert the new Arizona law?
Obama's approval ratings just keep dropping. As of Yesterday an AP Press release put it at 45%.
Obama and Hilary Clinton are doing everything they can to fight the People of Arizona for what amounts to Enforcing the existing Federal Laws.
The people of Arizona are Fed (Pun Intended) up with the Federal Governments lack of action.
There is nothing in the Arizona Law this is Racist.
The press keeps omitting the word "Illegal" from all their stories. They keep talking about Arizona as if they are somehow against Immigration.
Obama is clearly not in sync with the people as he keeps pushing his own Agenda as a puppet for the Wealthy.
Americans need to stand up and get rid of these people. And if the recent Primaries are any indication it looks like it is finally happening.
Everything in Camp Obama is about Obama's own personal agenda. He continues to fight the will of the people and is supported only by an increasingly smaller group of people who can not see the Forest through the trees.
his ratings are dropping and the citizens are increasing in dissent of his agenda, for sure...
Did you hear the newest Obama power grab...going after Campaign for Liberty because they tell a different side of the story on the issues and are gathering a big group of people against the obama agenda...free speech is being attacked in an election year...who are they going to go after next...?
