Do you think people would like it better if they weren't forced to purchase insurance? That doesn't affect me - I have insurance, but that's what I've heard the most noise about. But then again, if the purchase stipulation were removed, wouldn't the entire system collapse? Thoughts?
Maybe, but that's an essential component. Otherwise people would wait to get insurance until they need expensive care--adverse selection--and the system wouldn't work.
More people might like the reform if it were a bit simpler and explained better by its supporters. I do think it's unnecessarily complicated.
