John Lennon was prophetic in his statement with:
"Give Peace A Chance".
Today, as we hear of the onslaught of activities occuring in the Middle East'
I'm humbled to have known an iconic figure from my past;
Actually, I didn't know Mr. John Lennon personally;
However, he had a heart filled with peace, love and compassion.
The middle East today needs to center their thoughts and actions around what that true statement really meant;
Without action our borders will be an evident threat,
Not to mention what happened at the occurences of then 911 attacks on American soil;
Instead of dealing with other issues at hand;
One needs to help out their fellow man and take a stand !
No man is an island we all must agree to stand together as a TEAM: Where( Together Everyone Accomplishes Much !),
Again we must come together collectively and give peace a chance. ( Before it's too late !)
Just a thought by which to ponder.
I have not read, but do not decline.
Do not betray me on this...
I really don't want to rain on anyone's parade but I'm afraid that message has been going out since before Jesus the Christ.
I can't put my finger on why we can't hear it but we especially in America seem to see peace as some sort of weakness.
Look at all the sports we're involved in-It Has To Be Winner Take ALL.
Our polical party must be The One that wins.
I seriously doubt the kind of peace you're talking about will never surface until we've blown this world up and have to start from scratch and then I'm not sure it would take for very long.

Both were singers and gutarists for The Beatles but which one had the better solo career? John wrote about War, Love and Peace. Paul has had a longer solo career but has he made the same amount of classics as John did?...

Happy Birthday to John Lennon. He would have been 71 today. Gone for 31 years now. I wonder about all the wonderful songs we all have been deprived of losing him way to soon.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-b7qaSxuZUg
