Even Bill Clinton thinks Obama's policy is wrong! Why does Obama want to punish the middle class this way? Why is he forcing grandma to choose between food and heat?
Politicians go to great efforts to make sure the amount of people who are poor continues to increase, instead of decreasing. They do it, at a very slow pace, so it's not recognized by the majority.
Since most politicians cannot see past themselves to the consequences of their actions, they also cannot see that they are going to, sooner or later, have more poor than working, which is where it is presently headed.
But, they also fail to realize that increased prices on things or forcing the free enterprise market to bring out products before the market can bare is also completely stupid.
It just goes to show how really ignorant politicians truly are to begin with.
