Hillary stepping down

    Hil told CNN she won't continue as SOS if Obama is re-elected.

      old news habee...when she had come down to India , she had made similar statement...and that was year and half back...she thought her post was too demanding and involves lot of traveling...

        Sorry. This is the first I'd heard about it. I asked my best friend, who's a huge Hil fan, and she hadn't heard about it, either, so I decided it was okay to post.

    I wouldn't want to continue to spend my life on an airplane either.   That has to be a taxing job.  I does not seem to be her style to give that type of information right out.  Surprised she would admit that.

      I remember hearing her speak last year and she said the position was very stressful. I don't think it's reflection on Obama, it sounds like she is simply tired of the demanding public servant lifestyle.

    Maybe she's joining Bill's philanthropic foundation and taking her international skills private...

    I thought it was odd she said she would not consider a position as SecDef. She's not qualified for that position. Better money elsewhere anyway.
    Other than that I feel kinda sorry for her. She can't be enjoying herself. I don't like her politics, but she doesn't seem the sort to play second fiddle, which is something I admire in leadership. Besides, the lead fiddler can't seem to tune his guitar.

    It is normal to have a change in cabinet after the start of a second term.  I believe it has happened almost every time.  Most want to go private so they can take advantage of all the contacts and rake in the big bucks.  Pretty sure she won't be any different.
