After review of Obama's accomplishments one has to wonder why his approval numbers aren't lower. Is America masochistic? Why does Obama not get criticised more for his poor performance? Why does the media give him a pass? Why is he being treated differently than Bush would under these circumstances? Is it a race thing or is the left that hypocritical?

because media and people at large are intelligent to understand that what took bush 8 years to bring usa to current position would take 16 years to again reach to position which was before bush...2 years is peanuts...USA needs two term of obama and 2 term of another good president irrespective of that being democrat or republican to get back on track...

Wow so you're ready to blame Bush for the next 16 years no matter what Obama does? No wonder why thus country is a mess!

not me any unbiased person can see that things which take 8 years to worsen cannot be set right in 2 years...it is simple common sense... it would take many years of hard to get back to track..even if does get back to original position in 16 years it would be great bcoz china is rising

As somebody pointed out recently, the UK was left with massive debts to the US after WWII which were paid off over 60 years allowing us some pretty prosperous times and enabling us to carry on pretty much as normal.

Now countries with similar debts are expected to clear those debts in two or three years. Nobody can expect anything resembling normality under such conditions.

It's rather like the average guy taking on a mortgage for 200,000 over a couple of years!

You heard it here first, the excuse for why we will continue to hear cries of "It's Bush's fault" well past Obama's second term (should he be so fortunate as to earn one)

Lalo, when you wrote "After review of Obama's accomplishments" I started to laugh because the list was so awful and meaningless.  But the Obamazombies will never admit to how bad he is as president.  Unfortunately too many have drunk the Obama Kool Aid and continue to make excuses for him.

I know and I just don't understand it! By any objective measure this president is an utter failure... except at stifling freedom! Just imagine if Bush had a record like this,  there'd be violence in the streets!

Don't worry Lalo, by the end of Shiny's presidency, Bush will look real good.  In fact it's already begun. big_smile

Wait, I'm not familiar with this particular nickname. Why are you calling Obama "Shiny"?
