This article gives some very compelling reasons for minding our own business. We wont be able to stop at a no fly zone and sooner or later some one will have to put boots on the ground and oust Kadaffy... after that someone is going to have to rebuild the country ...  who do you think is going to get stuck with this?  France?  GB?

You change like the wind, Lady Love about 48 hour ago you were unsure according to your thread at that time of your position on american involvement. Now that the president has taken action you know your position. Lol, Lol, Lol.

Actually I have never endorsed war and I was opposed to the war in Iraq and I would not have been in favor of what we're doing in Afghanistan now if I thought this was the plan from the beginning.  I don't favor nation building but im all for killing those that want to kill us! We should gave killed Kadaffy when Regan was president... we missed but we shouldn't have given up on the idea.

The main reason the U.S. should mind its own business in this instance is because our "leader" Obama pretends to be FOR human rights (thereby joining in with the assault on alQuaddafi), while he says Americans should have the right to kill their own unborn children.    It's lack of good leadership that's the problem.  America is sorely lacking in that.   The Obama regime contradicts itself time after time.  That man has no right to judge any individual, much less another Dictator.

Brenda: Who did you vote for president, Obama? Lol  Imagine if your vote was not in vain. You would not be pleased with your choice and you still would be jumping up and down. So your opinion is....

No, I don't think I'd still be "jumping up and down" at all.   I only do that when naked emperors get national and military clearance at the allowance of blinded liberals.

so a president's stance on abortion should dictate as to whether or not he should be able to use the armed forced in any type of military action?

Nope.  Just in regards to "human rights".

Should the USA be taking part? In a lop-sided fight, YES!

        In a fair fight? No.

Clear enough for this meaningless thread.

Well, if America is all concerned about human rights, there is a rat's nest of human rights violations at our doorstep, the drug cartels in Mexico. We need to get the Western Hemisphere cleaned up first. America first, to include Central and South America.

America should get it's own house in order, before attempting to do so in other countries. It's called- Lead by Example. smile

While we're cleaning up the western hemisphere, let's not forget the dirtiest, most underhanded, evilest, vilest, most abusive to its citizens country of all: CANADA lol

Although for the most part, Canada is a beautiful country with wonderful people, it is inhumane to expect anyone to endure those Canadian winters. For that reason alone, America should grant honorary citizenship to all Canadians, so they can travel south for the winters. We let their geese do it, why not thier people?

Sort of. Free for anyone who isn't American. They send your bill to Canada, who pays it for you. Or not. Nobody checks.

How did I know you would come rushing to the defense of Canada, Greek One?

There is an argument for invading Canada. Are you ready for it?
It stems from Brenda's post about Obama favoring killing unborn babies. There are those who count "self-abuse" as abortion. You know the song, "Every sperm is sacred..."
    lol

There are "those" who will take ANY subject off onto a wild tangent.  "They" are the instigators of confusion.  I don't take much notice about what "they" say.  Nor should anyone.

we dont self abuse to the point of spilling our seed..

its too cold up here and we would just end up slipping upon our decedents

So military action is ok, as long as it is against a country where abortion is legal?
