We are America - we want to be the land of freedom from oppression open to all. At what point do we have to stop it and shut the doors?

What makes you think America is open to all?

Do you realize how expensive, restrictive, and paperwork intensive the American immigration process is?

Which is NO EXCUSE for jumping the line.

Which of course did not stop the original European invasion.  They not only jumped the line, they slaughtered everyone standing in it.

I never said anything about jumping the line, I was responding to the original post.

Peter was talking about immigration policy, not illegal immigration policy. I was simply responding to him that America is far from 'open doors'.

At no point. We just need to stop ILLEGAL immigration.
