A friend of mine is originally from Damascus; we're both in our midthirties. A couple of years ago he moved back right after he got married. So, I've been following the escalating violence resulting from the gov't's intolerance of popular protests. I'm a little worried because he is very politically passionate so I can see him getting right in the middle of all of this. Also, I imagine he sticks out quite a bit over there being very Westernized. Does anyone on HP live in Syria? Or anywhere in the Middle East? I feel like I should do something . . .  but what?

      you can do a lot.
When you express what you believe that Syrian are being killed, just because they ask for democracy.
You can ask politician "Why thousands of Syrian were killed while every body keep silent?"
You can express your ideas by publishing a hub.
      Syrian are being killed daily.
Syrian are still human being, I think?!!

      Thank You for getting interested.
