Riots have broken out in North London, with petrol bombs thrown at police and two police cars, a double-decker bus and buildings set on fire.
The protests began after the police shot and killed a 29 year old local man. Protesters gathered outside the police station and started demanding justice.
Shops have been looted and set on fire, with one local describing it as a "war zone." A spokesperson for the Mayor of London has said, "Violence and destruction of property will do nothing to facilitate the investigation and we urge those involved to respect the rule of law."
I just found this article, but it doesn't say what the young man apparently did.

I can find little information, other than an incident happened when a policeman stopped a cab, which contained 29 year old Mark Duggan, and a gun has been found on the scene.
