Recently Perry has been attacking the federal reserve openly in public.

OF course, he wouldn't have ever been doing this without the past 20+ years of Ron Paul making the Fed an issue, but his views are very welcome.
Perry's attacks on the Fed are, however, very likely an attempt to win over the spoils of the Paul-fans after Paul is kicked out of the race (because every media conglomerate ignores him).
Let me remind those who are actually paying attention to Perry's arguments: Ron Paul has a 20+ record of assaulting the Fed, and Perry doesn't have more than a month's worth. Listen to him cautiously, he's likely just trying to steal votes from Paul.
... y'know, like the liberals:
"I want to end the war! We all want to end the war! War is evil!", but then when they get elected, they start 3 new ones that are all undeclared.

Over the last couple of days a lot of media attention has gone towards a conspiracy theory involving Ron Paul and Mitt Romney banding together. They seem to be pushing it pretty hard which in my mind means that...
