I am not sure whether or not justice has been served, my gut says it has not, but the larger question is - Why do we care if Johnny Depp and Eddy Vedder have an opinion of these events?  I would be interested if it was SCOTHUS Chief Justice Roberts or an experienced criminal defense attorney or prosecutor, a forensic scientist or a long time police detective but and ACTOR and a Musician?  That is like asking my garbage collectors, 3rd grade teacher, letter carrier, dentist, etc.... What wisdom is available to celebrities that is unavailable to anyone else?

I don't know whether these quys were guilty or not, but I do know that if enough money is involved the verdict will shift. Look at the IMF guy who was accused of rape, see how they twisted the case to the credibility of the accuser. Now she is more on trial than he, but he is no longer the man in charge of the IMF the entity that goes around the world loaning money to nations at an interest rate that is not affordable, and when they default and they do the IMF makes concessions and recommendations that are not in the nations best interest. Who will make those decisions now?

I think every case boils down to the credibility of the accuser doesn't it?

Justice is being served to rich people only. And justice is being subverted by rich people only.

Here in India, one famous politician is dragging a case for 15 years as she knows she is the real culprit. She drags the case each time it comes to court and have got more than thousand adjournments. She is being called "Queen of adjournment", or "Vaidha Rani" in local. Can a common man do like this?

While arresting a number of opponents, for land grabbings, she has grabbed land near Chennai and in Nilgiri District. Can a common man do like this?  What justice is this?
