A tax on Christmas trees??

    Yep. It will help fund a Christmas tree board. Just what we need - another government board. Bah! Humbug! lol

    Tax this, tax that, tax everything and next thing you know there won't be anything without a tax. hmm It's pathetically sad.

    If you Googled it you would see that they are basically collected and administering a fund for the industry, at their request. No sinister or crazy plan to see here.

    It would have been more politic  to form an association and collect the money as a membership fee.

    I say let the trees live.  Don't buy cut trees.  Leave them in the ground where they belong.  Cut Christmas trees are as bad as pumpkins for Halloween.  Waste of food, waste of trees.
