In the past, it’s been difficult to make a direct link between pesticide exposure, which can be cumulative over years, and specific health problems. But in this case, farmer Paul Francois has been able to link his specific neurological problems with a specific incident of exposure to Monsanto’s “Lasso” brand pesticide in 2004. That made the difference.

Monsanto - deliberately poisoning people from the beginning of it's history, has now be conclusively linked and convicted of doing so in the nation of France.

India is suing the biotech agribusiness for biopiracy.  It's time we Americans step to the plate on behalf of ourselves, and our fellow citizens of the Earth, and boycott Monsanto entirely - but simply put, a boycott of Roundup will bankrupt that corporation in short order.

The title of this should have read "Pesticides and Herbicides."

Yeah....I saw that the other day.  Our government is doing all it can to keep the monstrous Monsanto corporation in business.

Very sad - some corporations simply need to die....since they're people and all *sigh*

Interesting information given here. I was unaware of most of this. I think I will continue to purchase some of the 'green' friendly products now available on the market. Thanks for the info. Great hub!

      Thanks Sir!!!!!

Be careful of those labels though - in this day and age they'll sell anything and call it "safe," "natural," "green," etc.
