Stupid American Fools

In a ABC News headline it is revealed that Executives of AIG partied with the money from the bailout made possible by the stupid American taxpayers. $440,000.00 or nearly half a million dollars were spent on one big party only days after the stupid American taxpayers gave AIG $85,000,000,000.00 (eighty-five billion) of their hard earned money.

“After Bailout, AIG Execs Head to California Resort

By BRIAN ROSS and TOM SHINE
ABC News Chief Investigative Correspondent via WORLD NEWS

Less than a week after the federal government committed $85 billion to bail out AIG, executives of the giant AIG insurance company headed for a week-long retreat at a luxury resort and spa, the St. Regis Resort in Monarch Beach, California, Congressional investigators revealed today.

Rescued by Taxpayers, $440,000 for Retreat Including "Pedicures, Manicures"By BRIAN ROSS and TOM SHINEOctober 7, 2008 Less than a week after the federal government committed $85 billion to bail out AIG, executives of the giant AIG insurance company headed for a week-long retreat at a luxury resort and spa, the St. Regis Resort in Monarch Beach, California,

"Rooms at this resort can cost over $1,000 a night," Congressman Henry Waxman (D-CA) said this morning as his committee continued its investigation of Wall Street and its CEOs.

AIG documents obtained by Waxman's investigators show the company paid more than $440,000 for the retreat, including nearly $200,000 for rooms, $150,000 for meals and $23,000 in spa charges.

The above report shows just how stupid the American people are. Additionally the American taxpayers are so stupid that almost half are calling for “4 more years of the same”. The other half are star struck and believe that changing which political party is in the White House will eliminate the greed of the ruling elite.

While the ruling elite were having parties in rooms costing over $1,000.00 per night, the stupid taxpayers paying for it all were in the process of losing their homes. The ruling elite dined on expensive fish eggs and lobster with white wine paid for by the stupid taxpaying parents of thousands of little children going to bed hungry. Far better for your child to go hungry than for a ruling elite citizen to do without lobster. I know it is disgusting to say and hear but we have degenerated into a third world country where only the ruling elite can function normally.

I remember as a young man I used to cross the Mexican border into Mexico. There, close to the bridge little boys around 7 or 8 years old would come running to me and say “Hey Mister, you fuck my mother? She is a virgin”.How stupid of me not to see that my life has come full circle. Why, just yesterday I heard a neighbor say to me, “Hey Mister, you vote for my candidate? He is an honest politician“.

Yeah Right!!!

No, it was not given by the "stupid American taxpayers". It is given by the elected cockroaches and scumbag Congress to be paid by American taxpayers. The average American was smart enough to oppose the concept. The average elected official, however, is ethically retarded and does not mind spending our money for us.

And who was it that elected those retards? And even more importantly, who is it that is gonna vote to re-elect those same retards?

Let me direct you once more to the title of the article.

I rest my case!

Our government is founded on the principle of separation of church, state and Wall Street -- trust in the market make all the religious right rich people filthy rich and f%$ the middle class and poor.

That is, until the house of cards is found -- **big shock** -- to be based on nothing but greed and ignorance.

But wait! Here comes the cavalry (led by St. John) to rescue the fat cats. Once again, save the rich at the expense of the rest of us poor taxpaying suckers.

This isn't the first time, but it's certainly the biggest $wise. Kinda late to impose regulations after the fact, eh? When will our government learn to stop locking the barn door AFTER the cow has left? It makes my (unpedicured -- I've had to cut back on a lot of things) toes curl to think of those AIG assholes on a junket in Napa. More than shameful, that's criminal. Misappropriation of government funds.

Mighty Mom, I really thought about deleting your comment.  The reason?  Well your comment is nothing but the bald TRUTH. No lipstick on that comment. Now, who ever heard of a taxpayer telling the truth?

Thanks for your comment!!

Pancho Villa,

Our government (UK) has just staged their own British bail-out, and of course there will no doubt be similar disgraceful tales in our press in the coming weeks. Surely your government has made some attempt to limit the use and access to these funds? It would be inexcusable to not put checks and balances in place, or is it only the taxpayers who think of these things?
