Hi there everyone. I am a single mom. A daughter, sister, friend, confidant, ex-wife, strong woman, a woman of faith, a woman sometimes in crisis, I love to laugh so hard until my stomach aches. I have been accused of smiling so big that you can see every tooth in my mouth, some say thats great, Im unsure about it. I feel secure with who I am most days, somedays I want to start over. I write because I have so much inside and its either get it out this way or scream as loud as I can. I opt for the former. Music is therapy for me. That has a lot to do with my upbringing. I am currently a student, starting a business, writing freelance (trying anyway), and trying to raise a son who someday can say that he is proud of his mother. I am cynical and bitter at times, but for the most part I realize that forgiveness does in fact lift the burden. I can't change people I can only accept that they have weaknesses just as I do. I can do my part in the world to make it a better place even if some days its only to offer to hold a door, say God Bless you over a sneeze, or offer to help someone with a grocery bag. I love to watch my son discover the world. It allows me to see the beauty in things that in this time in my life I might overlook.
