I am a young doctor from the Philippines who firmly believes in equality and justice. Though I was just able to experience the "Moonlighting" point of view for just 3months. But I do believe that those where the most enriching experience of my life as a doctor.
Being a doctor in the Philippines is either fruitful or quite disastrous. But whatever paths we've chosen, we still belong to one profession, which is caring and taking care of the sick. If we choose a different path or so, at one point in our life we would feel the hunger for compassion for the sick.

Queen of the Lint
I lived in the Philippines for several years, my aunt and uncle lived there for over twenty years and I don't remember much Tagalog beyond "Ma Sarap!" I miss the food (although a Filipino restaurant just opened up near me and I now can get my fix of Pork or Chicken Adobo!). But I miss lanzones. Looking forward to reading your hubs!
