I am happily married with two beautiful grand-daughters and three adult children.  On the "farm" we have 100 chickens, dogs, cats, fish, and gophers.  Actually the gophers were there before we were and we see them once in a while and yes, we leave them alone!

With great ambition I am entering into a new phase and my interests are many, running, zumba (if you haven't tried it, you should) cooking - go Paula Deen and Rachel RAy, being outside, but I have to admit my husband is the gardner.  Woodstaining, antiques, painting, reading, and learning as much about anything as I can.  At some point, I would like to try barrel-racing (would be a sight to see) mountain climbing, learn how to play a guitar properly, go snorkeling, and many other things ...... Life is to be lived with zest and fun.  

I am a born-again Christian and I love Jesus very much.  He has helped me to overcome many difficult situations and become a better person.  Therefore, I am passionate about family and faiith.  Somewhat opinionated - pro-life, consertavative, and politics, are some of my interests.  Treat others with respect - even with differing viewpoints is somewhat of my mantra.  Finally, I love to laugh - it's healing to the soul.

Music speaks to the soul and I enjoy just about anything, jazz, blues, soft rock, oldies - 60 - 80, contemporary Christian.

I am a runner and plan on my first marathon in the next few months.  Recently a friend introduced me to ZUMBA - wow - I LOVE IT..

Movies, eh, the old ones that were fun (and safe :>) to watch.  Star Wars rules!!
