I've been an outdoorsman all my life. I'm a hunter, fisherman, gardener, cook, inventor, writer, father, husband, and all around good guy if I do say so myself. I'm a white male in my early 50's, happy that I've seen so much technological advancement in my lifetime, (remember only 3 tv channels?).

I have 2 dogs, 2 goats, 5 chickens, 7 ducks, and my wife Beth has a cat that's not allowed on my side of the bed. Since I love her I tolerate the cat.

My backyard ends where Dan's Mountain Wildlife Management Area begins. Dan's Mountain WMA is a 10,000 acre playground for naturalists like me. I'm happy with most of the choices I've made in my 50 plus years and I hope you're loving life too!
