I’m Catherine Faulke (family name Chester-Freeman), and I love my new life on the Gold Coast just a short walk to the Pacific Ocean and the Broadwater.
I’m a Kiwi, born on October 13, 1954 in a small town on the West Coast of the North Island of New Zealand. I had a great childhood with two older brothers and a sister.
I wanted to see the world so traveled for some years before marrying and settling in Australia, where my four beautiful daughters were born and grew up in the Sunshine State. They have now flown the nest and after a 24-year marriage I am single again.
Like many women who find themselves in this position, I see it as a time of transition, a time for new beginnings and a time when just about anything seems possible.
