Up until the age of 18, I lived and worked (endlessly, it seemed) on a farm in the foothills of North Carolina. After leaving, I was educated at university, living off of friends who gave me beer and meals for term papers.
I have been paid to fix computers, research financial institutions, frame houses, create web-sites, write columns and articles for newspapers, edit magazines and market products at sporting events across the nation.
People with mostly-empty wallets publish my poems, plays, essays and short stories.
I am married, living in Mississippi and trying to become rich off of a trick-performing chinchilla that shows little to no interest in riches or tricks. She does enjoy running though.

Welcome Crash. Hmmm, that's a sentence I never thought I'd type. I can certainly relate to interiors by Sanford & Son - having lived with two kids, four dogs and a husband (not necessarily in order of preference). Now I say if it sits long enough to gather dust, it's expendable. That keeps hubby on his toes. : )
