My family came to Georgia in 1826.  I was born here, and although I've lived all over the country, the majority of my life has been spent here.

I've tried to move away, but there are tenuous strings that the South attaches to your heart, tugging and pulling you back over and over.

I love Southern writers and I am especially fond of Southern women authors.   I am personally in the throes of writing a novel about the Georgia of the 1820s.

I'm definitely ADD's child, or either a magnificent multi-tasker, whichever you prefer, so you can expect to see hubs a-poppin!

I have a lot of business experience and I plan to share some of the things I have learned.  At one point I owned a recruitment firm so I know a lot about jobs, resumes and searches.  I still write resumes on request.

I currently own a service business and so I know a lot about start ups, procedures, employment issues, etc. and I have a small consulting company called Create A Business - reasonably priced small business consulting - from the trenches!

I love to cook and garden and politics fascinate me, especially in these unusual times.  I have two blogger blogs - Typist in a Teapot and When the Cox Crows.
