Erik Jay is a polymath. In addition to being a BMI composer/artist writing and performing a unique blend of jazz, Latin, r&b, and pop styles, he is a prolific writer, editor, designer, publishing expert, webmaster, marketing maven, PR professional, and all-around artsy (and crafty) kind of fellow. He is most proud of having people in his life who are far more wonderful than he deserves, from parents and siblings to wife, Lydia, daughter and son-in-law Monica and Lamont, and his three precious grandchildren Tiana, Aliyah, and Junior. (Erik would doubtless point out that he was a child groom.) He also loves his dogs, past (Anna, Bernie, Clark, Sombra, Loretta, Sarah, Jet-Eye) and present (Maximo and Cecily). He wishes he had their sterling qualities of loyalty, devotion, unfailing love, and sheer "in-the-now-ness."
