As a co-owner of Green River Timber, Auction & Realty, my passion and strengths are in creatively marketing real estate to find the ideal buyer(s) for our clients. We specialize in real estate auctions. I grew up in rural Southern Indiana, and during the summer months, worked in the corn fields for Dekalb Plant Genetics and later for my father's construction company. After high school, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Indiana in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, minor in Economics; additionally, I earned the Finance Department Award.
I went on to work in high finance in corporate America for several years with General Electric and State Farm Insurance. Then, the non-profit organization EvanTell, based out of Dallas, asked me to be their Director of Marketing. The organization grew substantially into a multi-million dollar organization, and I became their Chief Operating Officer. During that time, I also earned a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary and developed a passion for God's creation - especially rural land.
I later served as marketing and operations consultant for a real estate consulting firm in Colorado. I have participated in numerous auctions and created and executed marketing plans for selling millions of dollars of real estate at auction.
I have successfully completed several real estate courses including the Real Estate Salesperson course at the University of Evansville.
