I live in Chicago for the theatre scene. I make money performing with children's theatres and occasionaly substitute teaching at a pre-school where I used to work full time. I am a bit of a dreamer, and have recently decided to embrace this aspect of my personality more fully.
As a child I always claimed I would be an actress, and support myself with my writing...well, I grew up eventually, but never enough to be fully convinced of the impracticality of pursuing an artistic life. I never gave up on my desire to perform, but until recently I had allowed my pleasure in writing to go ignored. Now I am making up for lost time by writing whenever I can, and I hope you enjoy reading what I write.
My interests include photography, cheap beer, small children, stage performance, devised and documentary theatre, poetry, midnight movies, writting, being green, learning how to bake my own bread, watching my compost turn into dirt, crafting, biking the city, and becoming a world class amatuer chef. I also have a healthy appreciation for British comedy.
