Politically liberal (have often been a delegate to DFl endorsing conventions but hesitate to identify myself as DFL because of frequent disillusionment with some of the actions... or non-actions... of the DFL party). Religiously liberal as well, as a member of the United Church Of Christ (UCC). And yet I somehow manage to count conservatives among my close friends, as well as people of all religious stripes from conservative evangelists to full fledged atheists (and other faiths as well, including Jews and Muslims). Most significant thing of import here is that I've been a near-lifelong movie fanatic. Also, I'm probably way too old at 56 to be a movie reviewer, but I've never lived my life prior to this on the basis of what anyone else thought, so why start now?
