After 20 years working as a marketing executive in Manhattan, I'd had enough, so I quit my job, sold my house, and moved my family to rural Virginia. I now consult full time, operate a retail equine art ecommerce site, and write.  I've been a writer my entire life and have published 3 non fiction books, hundreds of online articles, and magazine articles.

My Writing

I've loved writing my whole life and have been a professional, published author since my early twenties.  During college, I wrote ad copy and radio scripts, and continued writing advertising copy for several years after college until I worked my way into the ranks of marketing management.  I continued to freelance, and wrote for Newsday, Horse Illustrated, Equus, The Secretary, and dozens of other journals.

I returned to freelance writing after my move to Virginia and have since written for many major websites, magazines and journals. I'm currently the Site Editor for LovetoKnow Business, Diet, Vegetarian and Vitamins, as well as a Contributing Writer.  I am also a Staff Writer for RawPeople, writing about raw and living foods and the entire lifestyle around raw and vegan foods.  You can find my weekly Organic Gardening Column there too.

More About Me

In my personal life, I'm married to an amazing Renaissance man, an author, financial consultant, my soul mate and business partner.  Yes, you can work with your spouse and enjoy every moment of it!

I'm mom to a neurotic rescued German Shepherd named Shadow and a junkyard cat with a fancy name, Pierre.

If you can't find me in the office writing or helping my marketing clients, look for me working in the gardening or off on a hiking trail somehwere.  I'm into organic gardening, hiking, holistic health and wellness, and diet - especially vegetarian, vegan, and the raw food diet.
