Hi, I’m Jenny-Anne and I’m just starting out as a freelance writer and editor. I have an MA in French poetry and I’m completing a course in Editing & Proofreading Skills that will qualify me to become a member of AFEPI, the Association of Freelance Editors & Proofreaders in Ireland.

One evening a week I work as an adult education tutor, teaching Leaving Cert English (state qualification) to adults that have returned to education. Teaching English gives me a good excuse to keep up with reading classics like Shakespeare and poetry.

Personal interests include the environment, ecotourism, travel, wildlife and global development. I edited Rón (Irish for seal),the Irish Seal Sanctuary newsletter for just over a year and I’m now on the editorial committee of Focus magazine with the Irish global development organisation, Comhlámh (Irish for solidarity).

I've set up a blog called Ecotourism Ireland with information on places to visit in Ireland and the wildlife you might see there.
