Jim is from the Detroit area and now resides in Fort Worth, TX with his beautiful wife, Heather. Jim spent 8 years in professional baseball with the Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Detroit Tigers organizations. His father, Jim Essian Sr., played 12 years of major league baseball and managed the Chicago Cubs in 1991. Jim is now the Youth Pastor at Hope Works church in Fort Worth.
