Hi. I live on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW Australia about a 5 minute drive from the beach.

Until a few months ago I had spent over 20 years working in business administration and recruitment for both the government and the private sector. I was also a managing partner in a successful construction business for 7 years.

Several months ago I decided to leave this line of work and pursue something different. Unfortunately I didn't know exactly what that would be.  I just knew that I no longer wanted to work for someone else and I wanted a little more creative freedom.

I have always enjoyed writing as well as business. I decided recently to set up a website to help new business owners to start, manage and grow their business.

I have often been asked for advice from family, friends and work collegues on matters relating to small business, recruitment and career advice so these are the topics that I have chosen to write about on my site.

As I enjoy writing and researching my areas of interest I thought that this would be the ideal opportunity to share some of my knowledge with others.
