I began my writing career in 2004 when I landed a job as an assistant editor for a trade magazine publishing company. The following year, I started freelance gigs for Scene, an alternative weekly based in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2007, I landed a job with All Music Guide as an Assistant Editor - Pop Music. Outside of music, I am interested in arts/entertainment (particularly film), progressive, Green and Democratic (the party, not the system) politics, enviromentalism, sustainable/green living, environmental and humanitarian causes, and gardening.
