Lita Sorensen on HubPages

I am a writer, photographer and artist living in Arizona, though I'm originally from the Midwest, and also lived in NYC--Brooklyn(!) for a while.

I enjoy writing on many, many topics, but especially travel, lifestyle, finance and investments, home, design, the arts, and health--which basically reflect my interests in life.

Some of my favorite things on record include (but are not limited to) long subways rides to Coney Island, running down an open road in the fall under a crisp blue sky here in AZ, Chinatowns--anywhere, chocolate cheese cake and a cup of coffee, cool old houses, and that first whiff and glimpse of the ocean when you haven't seen it in a while.

I've got degrees in art, English and journalism, and an M.A. in writing. I am the author of three books of nonfiction for young adults and numerous published articles, essays and poems.  I currently work in marketing for the travel and tourism industry.
