Loni is a freelance copywriter/editor living in Lawrence KS. Contrary to popular belief, she does not live in fear of a house dropping on her head from a random tornado. In addition, she doesn't know any Toto dogs, but she does own a blue-eyed Siberian Husky named Zoe.

Her interests are gardening, medieval history, literature, science fiction/fantasy, Irish music, anthropology, art, art history, clothing design, blackwork embroidery, knitting, spinning, weaving, crochet, cloth dyeing, herbalism, medicine and horses in all their variety. She plays the Irish harp, flute, and bodhran.

She maintains her CphT license so she can go get a real job as a pharmacy technician should she ever need to, but she's devoutly hoping that won't come up. Her husband is a mosaic tile artist, so it seems that for now, the whole family works from home.

She has two toddlers, Sascha and Gabriel, who make life worthwhile and endlessly entertaining. While it could be said that teaching table manners to toddlers is an exercise in futility, it provides much laughter to the toddlers in question.
