I was born in Japan to protestant missionaries, and though I grew up blindly believing in God, I stepped back from religion four years ago to figure what I truly believed, as opposed to what everyone around me told me I should believe. This does not mean that I do not believe in God, it does mean that I think religion is dangerous and can actually get in the way of a relationship with God.

I am a 25-year-old girl who is struggling between wanting to have fun and be carefree or grow up and be serious. I have dealt with a lot of serious issues in my past, but I have decided not to let them affect who I am today.

I enjoy knitting, photography, reading and writing and a host of other things. Currently I am spend my time working out, learning to cook, doing odd jobs, hanging out with my boyfriend, feeding my tortoise and attempting to teach myself Spanish.

I work for a local company who does content writing for several websites. I also am teaching piano lessons, cleaning businesses, and working for an online slide scanning company.
