I’ve often been asked why I decided to put a www.BestMakingMoneyTips.com site, and why I’m sharing info on managing personal finance. Well, I worked in the financial service industry between mid 2003 and mid 2007.

I saw people from all fields of life, with all level of education, from high school drop outs to university graduates. Almost all were basically clueless about their personal finances. And that includes myself before I got in the field. Often we were sold financial products, but without any real understanding of how they worked or fit with one another, without any overall plan or sound structure.

We could say most of us are “financially illiterate”. And I was one of them. Going from firm to firm for what they had to offer, I quickly saw that the very commission structure at those firms was a big part of the problem. It was all about the quick buck for the agent and the company. The goal was proudly stated by many agents: get in, close the sale, and get out! In one session the better! And since many suspect products, especially in the life insurance field, are paid more commissions than the ones recommended by all neutral sources, no wonder people have no clue and pay too much. I know many people seek a better way of making money by being in business and by using the web. That’s certainly possible and that's the main focus of www.BestMakingMoneyTips.com.

But I also wanted to share what I’ve learned and taught about how to manage money. There isn’t much sense in making money if you can’t hold on to it! As we share tips about making money and growing businesses, I want also to share tips and mindset on how to keep and grow that money.
