Manna in the wild on HubPages

When I was a kid, all the other kids asked me things. I always had an answer, and they always seemed to believe me. Lord knows why but most of the time I thought I was right, and most of the time, I think I was probably wrong. There are a lot of topics of which I am clueless: politics, food, sport, the entertainment industry, history and fashion... but this has been an almost conscious decision that allowed more involvement with specific subjects and practical pursuits:

Art and craft, DIY, physics, cosmology and electronics, computer hardware and software and programming, mathematics, internet security, physical health and fitness, mental health and efficiency & education. Today, I make my living from computer related activities. Since I was little, I made my own board games, electric circuits, tree houses and other fun crafts. As an adult,  I built our house and relax by exercising an artistic flair. You can view some of my artwork here ->

I am qualified to degree level in Electronics and Electrical engineering, and spent many years as a professional programmer. Now I hold a CISSP certification, and several vendor related security certifications - specialising in firewall technology and associated security appliances like IPS and anti-spam.

My hubs will inevitably follow these passions and provide a high quality source of practical experience.

Best TV shows of all time:

Red Dwarf

Futurama

Most time wasted watching TV (with total regret): Planet of the Apes.

(Depending on where you look)

Sugar gliders eat manna in the wild.  It is a crusty sugar residue where sap flows from a wound in a tree's bark.
