I came to America in 1997 from Germany with four suitcases and my little daughter Kaitlin who knew only one sentence in English. I started all over again, having sold all my belongings except some books in my grandmother's attic, although I doubt that I will ever read Freud again…

My first job was as a teacher of Anthropology (M.A.) at a private high school, then I cleaned houses for a couple of years, made sandwiches in a health food store, managed an art gallery, sold real estate, grew a successful wedding business (married about 400 couples so far), and sold timeshare for a year, which surprisingly proved to be the most intense spiritual growth path I have been on.

I am married to a wonderful musician, who gave up his simple bachelor life and said yes to my daughter, a dog, two cats and two box turtle babies.

In 2008 I published eight times (poetry and flash fiction) and have to give credit to the great people at The Internet Writing Workshop who inspired me and edited my work.

Recently, I decided to change my life again and enrolled in college to become a registered nurse. And I still enjoy being a midwife of love in the red rocks of Sedona.
