There are a lot of hats that I've worn over the years.  Electronic technician (in the Air Force and afterwards), after-school program tutor, high school math teacher (five years), philosophy student (grad school), financial advisor (former), business owner, entrepreneur, writer, husband, dad.

So where's the common thread?

Recently on one of my blogs I posted a quote from the Hippocratic Oath, "do no harm."  Ok, maybe a paraphrase.  But you get the idea.  I guess that is sort of a guiding principle of mine.

I turned online to help marketing my offline businesses - as a merchant account provider and running a web marketing firm.

And in the process discovered that it allowed me an outlet to share thoughts and ideas I haven't had the luxury of time to think about in years.
