Miss MerFaery, aka Louise Heyden, is a writer, artist, sound technician and former school library manager!
She is the author of the recently released title, "Booked In: How to Run a Successful School Library and LRC" and is currently working on a fantasy novel. She is completely addicted to writing articles for the web and writes for several different sites! She is an award-winning suite101 writer, and an enthusiastic Squidoo lensmaster! As well as penning work for HubPages, she also writes for Helium, Associated Content and eHow.
Phew! Not content with writing like a lunatic, Louise also paints and crafts faeries and is working on launching her very own product range this year. Watch this space!
Her other passions, aside from writing and creating, include reading, gardening, baking, nature and developing her spirituality.
She divides her (precious!) time between writing, art, working freelance as a sound technician and keeping house. This is actually quite important to her as a kitchen witch.
Louise has psychic ability and is almost a certified angel reader. She has been working with the angelic and enchanted realms for some years now.
Literacy is important to her; as a former school library manager she is passionate about motiviating children's reading and encouraging libraries to broaden their horizons and possibilites.
Originally from the Southeast of England, Louise now lives in Cheshire with her fiance John and is expecting their first baby in November.
