Mom and Dad are 44, son is 7. Mom and Dad have both returned to college (albeit online) out of sheer fear and desperation that the first go round was not good enough to keep us from ending up completely homeless...We are smart, engaging intellectuals who are living on our wits like two middle aged artful dodgers whilst simultaneously fighting off all manner of health issue from heart failure and cancer to debilitating arthritis and a mental health issue that came out of nowhere and had our 7 year old in the emergency room, suicidal. Were it not for a drug that costs nearly $700 per month we don't know where he would be right now. But how do we maintain? This is our struggle, our story, our survival guide. Thanks.
