I am a teacher, mom, homeschooler, biologist, Internet researcher, transcriptionist, writer, organic gardener, freestyle or "my style" artist, and occasionally, a wood-working, power-tool-using, do-it-yourselfer. I hold a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, yet my activities are more on the creative side of things, as you can tell. In addition to Hub Pages, I write for other sites, including Helium.
I'm an avid student of life and learning. Reading and writing go hand and hand within my daily routine. I have been a homeschooling mother for over 13 years, and I enjoy the responsibility of teaching.
I have a background in the sciences, however, education is the essence of what I do, and I find that I express my thoughts more creatively through writing.
I have worked in a variety of educational and writing capacities, and I recently added writing to my work efforts. I enjoy writing about herbs, natural remedies, health care, family, children, healthy foods, organic gardening, and I guess possibly many other things that are interesting.
