When I think about what to put in this space--the place where people read about who I am--I always imagine my life as a series of events and subsequently how unimportant those events are. I'd rather focus on who I am now rather than what might have had a factor in making me this way--I support the nature theory.
I am a Libra and whether or not you believe in the effects that the positions of stars have over our personalities/lives--I don't find much credibility in any pseudoscience to be perfectly honest--I do, in fact, fit the description of a typical Libra in positive and negative ways--affectionate, diplomatic, artistic, indecisive, dreamy etc.
A few of my unwavering beliefs are that people should be accepted and loved under any circumstance--yes, even rapists, pedophiles, murderers, and all others conventionally viewed as scum--because a person's intentions and motivations can never truly be understood by anyone else but the individual; people have the right to do anything they want to do to themselves. Even if the the masses feel it's not best for them, life is about trial and error and also about discovery for one's own self what it means to be alive; coexistence is possible if everyone worked together and put aside their selfishness.
My view on religious themes is best described as "weak agnosticism". I hope for the existence of a higher power of any sort that loves us and is watching out for us, however, I feel that there is no proof of one such being. I do not like religion or any other institute that is meant to convince a group of people to favor or dislike a cause or belief. I believe that every single person should question everything they think they know in order to find the thing they feel is the truth.
If I absolutely must place a label on myself describing my political views, I would best be described as liberal, but I detest any group of people that feels they are absolutely right about what they think is best for everyone. Ultimately, I believe our system of leadership is flawed to the point of not being able to fix it unless everything was revamped from the foundation up.
