Welcome to my "shotgun" hub. What do I mean by shotgun? The things I write about are all over the place. My hubs are about the world as I see it. I am interested in many things and that shows up in my writing.

I love to write. I began to write my senior year of high school and was instantly smitten. 

My writings are usually based on things I have observed. Sometimes, I can just hear a phrase like the time I had to write an article for a paper and could think of nothing. A preacher began his sermon, "Children used to eat dirt," and there was born my MUD PIE, ANYONE hub. And most recently, my son, angry and frustrated over something not going his way yelled, "Why do things never go my way!"

I just love it when that happens. 

Writing is more about keeping your eyes and ears open than anything else. It's important to write with the heart and not with the head sometimes.
