Razu Ahmed is a Bangladeshi journalist, was born in 31st December 1978 in Munshigonj district of Bangladesh. He has completed his schooling and achieved Masters of Arts (MA) degree in Bengali literature from University of Dhaka in 2004.
Razu is working for the Daily Share Biz kortcha (A Bengali Economic daily). Before this he was working for Boishakhi TV (A Bengali TV Channel), the daily Janakantha, The Daily Ajker Kagoj (A Bengali daily) and some weekly as an Economic from 2000.
The core areas of his professional interests include Poverty, trade, macro economy and related issues. He has completed various workshop and training on Journalism, trade and economic issues.
He has done research on ‘Poverty reduction in Bangladesh: planning and practice of Three decades’ under the fellowship program of PANOS South Asia And ‘Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Bangladesh: Losers and Beneficiaries’. He also have prepare some study and seminar-paper on External Debt, Migrant labor, RMG and Housing sector and IFI activities in Bangladesh.
Razu Ahmed received the ‘UNFPA Media Award 2007’. He has traveled to Hong Kong for cover the 6th ministerial conference of World Trade Organization (WTO).
