Words are not ideas; they represent ideas.  I often find the better I know the idea, the harder it is to find the right words to express it.  Such are the nature and limits of language, and such is the difficulty of writing my profile.

I am 27 years old, and I teach high school English and coach volleyball.  If you ran into me at any given moment, odds are good I'd be working on or thinking about one of these two things.  They are not, however, my life's calling.  My life, my existence in this world is for no other purpose than to know Christ and make Him known.  This is my vocation, and my occupation is merely a means by which to accomplish God's greater purposes.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."  This is truth, and there is no truth apart from this: God loves you.

"For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."
