Serenity Live on HubPages
I first shared my writing online when I was diagnosed with cancer as a young mother. I used journal entries to keep family updated and to try and gather my thoughts into words that could encourage. Two years later, and now cancer-free, I started a blog, Serenity Now, and quickly discovered the joy of finding people moved by my attempts to capture even the most mundane details of life. Through HubPages I hope to do the same.
I work for a travel company, so I will especially write in that genre here, with information about travel, especially as it pertains to students. Other things to know about me - I'm passionate about working from home - at least as long as I have children in it. I have three boys (four if you count the one with whom I am every day reminded I am extremely lucky in love), and I love to write. I want my Hubs to be articles that inform, entertain, and inspire. And hopefully they will convey one passionate message: Life is beautiful ~ get out there and live it.

Hi Serenity,
Great hub! I have worked from home for 25 years now, and thoroughly recommend it. Doing it full time is not necessarily for everyone though. If you love to have other people around you it can get lonely at times.
I have 4 kids, and whilst you can certainly save on childcare costs there is can also be a bit of a problem with the patter of tiny feet messing with your concentration!
