I'm a computer programmer in the midwest who is blessed to have a wonderful wife, great kids and a dog (although the dog is questionable!).  I am just looking for a place to express myself a bit.  I have a strong interest in discussing politics and faith, but I may find myself writing about my kids too, as that is really where the focus of my life is.  We'll see!

I have many different interests, from some that may make sense for someone in my field (big sci-fi fan, HUGE Star Trek one) to some that may make people scratch their heads (I am one of the few male scrapbookers out there).  I spent four years in the Marines, I've learned how to Scuba Dive and I am a 2nd degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo.  So I hope to find many sources of inspiration to feed my writing desire!
