I was born in 1972 in West Germany. My dad was stationed there in the army. We lived on the seventh floor of a high rise building. Every morning we would cross the street and get fresh baked bread from the bakery. I played in the park behind our complex and made a friend with an old German lady who sat on the bench surrounding the park, I called her my German Oma.
After Kindergarten we moved back to the US and lived in many places. We moved to Minnesota, Alabama, Arizona, Texas and Colorado. I went to school at Colorado State University and worked many different jobs. I was a Lifeguard, Swim Coach and DJ at a local night club. In my professional career I spent three years selling Insurance and Investments before I got into Automotive Sales. Today, I am a Sales Manager where I train, coach and motivate my sales team.
THE BRITH OF A WRITER
At an early age I was fascinated with books and movies. I remember reading under the covers with a flashlight after my parents turned out the lights. I still enjoy a good story and setting. Star Wars was my favoirte move. I have seen A New Hope 193 times. In college I worked at Blockbuster Video and got hooked on all sorts of movies. I see movies and stories in my head.
My Senior Year in High School I took a creative writing class that inspired my soul for writing. I knew that I wanted to be a writer. I just did not know when, how or what. In 1993 I wrote my first novel that compiled some of my short storys I wrote in that class. It was a hand written manuscript that still needs some rewrites.
Since then, I focused my passion into several projects. My experience ranges from corporate communications to having developed three taining guidebooks for Automotive Sales. I have three other completed manuscripts. I am currently working at polishing them to perfection. One novel is the first of an 8 book series that chronicles the adventures of Merlin's lost grandson.
As far as being a writer, spend the early mornings and late hours into the night develping my craft and putting my ideas down onto paper. It is just amazing how a thought can become reality. I am in the process of searching for an agent and a publisher.
I believe the stores we share brings us together. Our ability to use words to create different worlds, dream the impossible, inspire and teach is what gives us hope and strength in this challenging world. I hope to inspire millions with my words!
