The Toylanders on HubPages

I am a writer, and a retired nurse and medical lab tech.

I have written two  books. And 75 songs. I have recorded numerous songs myself in a home studio. I am a member of the Creative Genius Society, and Divine Madness (both groups created for intelligent and creative people by Maria Claudia Faverio). I have worked 11 years in the medical lab, and 15 years in Nursing. .

I have two degrees.  I have my own creative enterprise at http://www.thetoylanderstpi.com. This is a site that features some of the best indie artists. I have created an an imaginary band, as my friend Kevin Carey has, called the Toylanders. The only thing that is real is the music. But don't tell anyone, the Toylanders have their own little identity and reputation. as does kevin's "band" Earl Flemm and the fuller brushman. The tug of war between them is a saga. I like to write, and where it regards medical articles, I know what I am talking about...the less serious side is just what i was built to do...take advantage of both....

One of my songs Moody River Roll and Roll, made semi fimals at the UK song writing contest (Simon Cowell was a judge), the contest is really international, sponsored through Broadjam
