I Love people and have been very congenial and gregarious since I was a little child. I consider myself a person that simply does things for the benefit of others. I have been in and out of collegiate institutions - being a "non-conformists" in my "educational" disposition - I reject mostly all "disciplines" that are overly mental, intellectualistic, and void of natural non "man-made" understandings. I have a peculiar orientation for understanding human life that is not based on a specific "philosophy" that structures belief and what is perceived to be "rational."
My current interest at this time, is to write a series of books that cover "human being-ness" in a very comprehensive fashion. In the modern sense, the "educated" person would view such an endeavor as a combining of all "schools of thought" into an integrated fusion. But, my orientation is particularly "Ancient." Ancient understandings are conspicuously "spiritual"; whereas there is a close affinity to the "natural world." So, my "conscious orientation" tends to emphasize that the use of the intellect represents a limitation of consciousness. In our "modern world" thinking and intellectualism is king, I say this is the greatest threat to mankind. Needless to say, most people fimd my unusual coviction for this orientation quite beyond belief.
I meditate a lot using "Native American," Taoist, "Egyptian," Buddhist, and some Hindu yogic techniques. Because of my practices, I have come to understand that thought and the intellectual is not natural. It seems to be that way because so many of us do it - but, its not. What I do is take all the intellectual stuff that represents "knowledge" and deal with it on multiple levels of understanding -simultaneously. Like I may deal with the philosophies of Plato through psychology, or, I may deal with the theories of Einstein spiritually. It turns out, that when I do this, what I say, takes on unusual patterns of speech that are a mixture of contexts. Imagine Christianity being explained scientifically to get my meaning. For more personal examples of my orientation take a look at my my hubs on "The Singularity" and "Evil Alchemy and the Hidden Code of the Secret Platinum." So what I do, I guess, cannot be considered a meta-philsophy. Its more like a meta-natural (my unique phrase) understanding. Eventually, I would like to comment in the future, on a unique kind of spiritual orientation that is a result of my own unusual realization on the state of humanity as a natural resolve.
This orientaion is sort of a revitalisitic attempt on my behalf to pay reverence to the once "golden age" that humanity experienced as recent as the last hundred years before the "common era." That is to say, that if one surveys the artifacts of all cultures, there is one characteristic that can be found in them all that I believe is a marker for an important and very profound wisdom. A wisdom that has not simply been forgotten, but, has never been realized to have actually existed.
I was once asked the question, if I thought any of my books would sell since I do not have any related "culturally standardized" credentials. Well, my response represents a pretty simple understanding. Whatever an individual has learned in "schools" where credentials are acquired; whether the learning is: in philosophy through Plato or Socrates, in psychology through Freud or Skinner, in sociology through Herbert Spencer or Marx, in mathematics through Gallileo or Newton; it is in fact a "learned" standard in someone else's "discoveries." Put another way, I simply say to people in the form of a question: "Are you learning something that was taught to these people, or are you learning what they themselves realized?' The fact is, is that there are no credentials for realization.
For sure no-one taught Plato "dialectics," no one taught Einstein his "Theory of Relativity," no one taught Spencer "sociology," no one taught Freud the "psychiatric." People get degrees in these things, but to me, they are simply being taught to not "discover" things on their own. I am married to a wonderful woman, and a father of two, with one on the way, and, I am looking forward to a challenging and exciting adventure through the interaction with anyone who can lend a thoughtful ear to what I believe is an unusually provocative "discovery." One that I believe has the potential for changing a lot.

Tien Kai has some fascinating thoughts, embracing philosophy, psychology and the whole realm of human perceptions of reality. It is good to enjoy the odd philosophical discourse on Hubpages, and Tien Kai provides that and more.
